Mackay’s newly elected city councillors were given a detailed briefing on the Mackay Port Authority’s activities at a special meeting this week.
The councillors were also invited to undertake a tour of the ports’ facilities.
Chairman John Taylor thanked the councillors for taking the time out to attend the briefing prior to the council meeting.
“The Mackay Port Authority is proud of the working relationship that’s been developed with the Mackay City Council over many years,” he said.
