MPA CEO Greg Mann inspects the damage caused to Snoopy at Old Mulherin Park

Snoopy’s right paw was souvenired by vandals last night.

Mackay Port Authority chief executive officer Greg Mann said the incident was just one of a number of acts of senseless vandalism in the family park over the past few months.

“It’s disappointing not only from our perspective – but from the scores of children who enjoy the park every day,” he said.

Mr Mann is encouraging people to report all act of vandalism to police.
