Jetstar's latest edition to its growing fleet touched down in Mackay yesterday.
The new Jetstar A320 Airbus arrives in Mackay 2 days after flying in from France
The new Airbus A320 - capable of carrying 177 passengers - will replace the budget-priced airline's 717 on the Sydney -Mackay route.
Mackay Airport general manager Trevor Heard said the high-tech Airbus would offer passengers added comfort on the direct Sydney-Mackay service.
Passengers were very impressed with the aircraft that boast leather seats for added relaxation, he said.
The aircraft jetted into Australia from France only two days ago and has already been put into service.
Jetstar flies direct to Sydney three times a week Monday, Friday and Sunday. |
